After college, Davey packed up and headed to Austin, Texas, chasing a fresh start. He found work at a gritty guitar shop and crashed on the couch of a fellow Mizzou alum he'd met the year before. That humble beginning turned into something bigger when a connection at the shop led him to his first professional band, Satellite. With them, he hit the road across Texas, playing everything from dive bars to resorts, casinos, and private events.

Following a band residency in Alaska, Davey set his sights on the high seas, joining the cruise ship circuit. He spent a year in the show bands before finding his true groove in the piano bar. There, he crafted a high-energy, one-man show, live-looping drums, guitar, piano, and vocals into a sound that’s spontaneous, interactive, and always a good time.

When the world paused during the COVID-19 pandemic, Davey settled in the coastal city of Galveston, Texas. These days, he performs regularly around the island and travels throughout the state for private events, always bringing his signature blend of musicianship, showmanship, and fun. You can catch him regularly at The Grand Galvez, 23rd Street Piano Station, and other venues around Galveston.
